XVIIth INTERNATIONAL CHOPIN FESTIVAL IN MAZOVIA


The following are the organizers of the XVIIth International Chopin Festival in Mazovia:

Municipal Center of Culture in Sochaczew – Director Halina Pędziejewska

Frederic Chopin State Music School - Director Joanna Niewiadomska-Kocik

We want to offer young artists a chance to appear on the stage in our school located near the Birth Place of Fryderyk Chopin in Żelazowa Wola – a place revered by the entire World. We want also to offer participans a visit in Fryderyk Chopin House in Żelazowa Wola.
The International Jury will asses the participants’ artistic merit, without the use of comparison scale, and select over ten to participate in the Gala Concert of the Prize -Winners.
The Jury decision will be final and not subject to appeal.
All of the Prize – Winners will be obliged to take part in the Gala Concert as well as take part as honorary participants in prestigious concerts at the Concert Halls of Warsaw on 22rd November 2009.
All participants in the17th International Chopin Festival in Mazovia will be awarded commemorative Diplomas.

Applications submitted after the above date will be considered for enrollment only if space is available.
The list of admitted participants will be available on the website www.muzyczna.e-sochaczew.pl after 10 November 2009.
Rehearsals will take place on 17 th and 18 th November (after the time is agreed to with the organizer by phone).
All of the participants must be ready one hour before their scheduled recital.

The participants are responsible for their own travel and accommodation costs.
